NavventoTerms and Conditions
These Terms govern the use of the Navvento application (the "App") and of this site, which is offered by Stephania Rodríguez Patarroyo ("Navvento", "we"). By creating your account and continuing in the App you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. The service
Navvento is a platform for communities. It lets you create spaces or join them, and inside each space use channels and posts, direct messages, a member directory, a schedule with appointments, profiles, QR credentials and notices. The App is free in its current version. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Your account
- To use the App you must be at least 14 years old. If you are between 14 and 17, you need the authorization of your mother, father or legal representative, who accepts these Terms with you and is responsible for your use of the App.
- You sign in with your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account and to your phone secure.
- The data you give us, such as your name and your phone number, must be true and yours. You may not impersonate another person.
- You can delete your account at any time from the App (see Delete your account).
3. Spaces, their owner and their team
Each space is created and governed by a user (the "owner"), who can give permissions to other members so they can help: they and the owner form the "team". The owner and the team decide who joins, what permissions each member has, which channels exist and who sees them, and can pin, archive or moderate posts in their space. A space may have its own rules, which its members must also follow.
Navvento provides the tool, but it does not run the spaces or answer for the decisions of each space's owner and team or for the activity of each community. The owner of a space is responsible for how they use it and for the member data they see through their role.
4. Your content
- What you post, comment, send or upload (text, images, documents, polls, events) remains yours.
- You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you and to the people you share it with. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for what you already shared with others (for example, messages already sent), which may remain visible to them without your name.
- You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and for it not violating the law or the rights of others.
5. What is not allowed
- Posting illegal, violent or hateful content, harassment, discrimination or sexual exploitation; never content involving minors.
- Harassing, threatening, impersonating or deceiving other people.
- Sending spam, unsolicited advertising or chain messages.
- Sharing other people's personal data without their authorization.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Trying to access accounts, spaces or data that aren't yours, or interfering with how the App works.
- Copying, decompiling or using the App to build a service that competes with it, or accessing it by automated means.
6. Moderation, blocking and reports
You can block another person so they can't write to you. If you see content that breaks these Terms, report it to the space's team or write to us at app@navvento.com. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts or spaces that break these Terms or the law, giving prior notice and explaining the reason where possible.
7. Writing help with artificial intelligence
The App can suggest an improved version of the text of a post, generated by an external artificial intelligence service. To do so, the text of your post is sent to that service: that is why the App asks for your acceptance before sending it for the first time, and without it nothing is sent and you can publish without improving. The suggestion may contain errors: review it before publishing. What you publish, with or without the suggestion, is your responsibility.
8. Schedule and appointments
The App lets a member offer their schedule and others book appointments with them. Navvento is not a party to the agreement between the person who offers and the person who books, nor does it provide, charge for or guarantee the scheduled services. Honoring, changing or cancelling an appointment is the responsibility of those two people.
9. Intellectual property
The App, its design, its code, and the Navvento name and logo are ours or our licensors'. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App on your phone under these Terms. We give you no other right.
10. Availability
We work to keep the App working well and without interruption, but it is offered "as is" and "as available". There may be failures, maintenance or loss of connection. We recommend that you keep your own copy of whatever is important to you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Navvento is not liable for: the content published by users; the decisions of each space's owner and team; the agreements and services between members; indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data; or failures caused by third parties, your connection or your phone. None of this limits the rights given to you by the Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) or any other rule that cannot be waived.
12. Termination
You can stop using the App and delete your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or if the law requires it. If we stop offering the App, we will give you reasonable advance notice.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you in the App before an important change takes effect. If you keep using the App afterwards, you are understood to accept the new version; if you disagree, you can delete your account.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved directly by writing to us; if that is not possible, it will be resolved by the competent judges of Colombia, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
